Anyone else take a ten minute drugstore break when you feel stressed? Just me? Ok, fine. In all fairness, I only bought things I absolutely needed.

1) I’m currently trying out the Clarisonic Mia 2 (thanks, Casey!) and it’s come to my attention that I don’t have any face wash without some degree of exfoliant. I wanted a basic cream cleanser to use with all this fancy face technology. 

2) I’m due to toss all my grubby mascaras soon and Tanya Burr says Maybelline’s ‘The Falsies’ is the absolute best. I will be the judge of that, thank you very much.

3) I’m still not finished with vampy lips and NYX lip pencil in Black Berry looks like the perfect pal for all my dark purples. Note to self: use with a light hand…or not…you know, whatever… I also picked up Hot Red because it’s HOT RED. Note to you: even if you don’t have old lady lips like I do, you can still benefit from a lip pencil. Fill in your entire lip to help lipstick or gloss go the extra mile or wear it by itself because you’re a boss and matte lips look awesome. Just don’t cheap out on the balm or you’ll be sorry.
