The lovely @AvonPRgals sent me several products to try and I’m really enjoying their Nailwear Pro+ nail polish line. The new formula boasts twelve days of long lasting, nick-resistant color in four finishes: shimmer, cream, sheer, and sequins.
I’m currently on day three wearing Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Decadence. It applies like a dream - no streaks, opaque in one coat - and it might be odd to say, but I really like the brush; I sometimes have difficulty using polish applicators and I could easily paint three short brush strokes without making a mess.
This shimmery shade of purple was glossy enough on its own, but I topped it off with a quick drying topcoat because I was in a hurry to get to bed after my at-home manicure. If you’re interested in trying the new Nailwear Pro+ line for yourself, now is the time. All 45 shades are currently on sale for $3.49 on Avon’s website.
This product was sent to me by Avon for consideration without obligation. All thoughts are my own.
i noticed you use MAC Moisturecover concealer a lot, do you like it? i have the potted concealer from them (studio finish i think it's called) and it's so drying but manages to move and break up as the day goes by so i was looking to try that one :)
I love it! I have a very sensitive, dry under eye area and MAC’s Moisturecover concealer works best to hydrate my delicate skin and cover up unsightly dark circles.
I should probably clarify that it’s the only MAC concealer I’ve ever tried, but if it works well…why look for something else, right?

Clockwise from the left: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Coffee Cake, MAC Moisturecover concealer in NW20, NYX Eyebrow Push Up Bra, Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Bronzing Powder, Maybelline Baby Lips in Grape Vine, Avon Glow Bronzing Brush (c/o), Revlon Glow Luscious Mascara in Blackest Black, Clinique Moisture Surge tinted moisturizer in #03.
I cracked open my Guerlain by Emilio Pucci bronzing powder this morning and it filled my bathroom with the smell of roses. Scented products usually irritate my skin, but I’m not bothered by this one for some reason. I wish I could bathe in it.
GIVEAWAY ALERT: I’m giving away a brand new Red Racer lipstick from MAC’s ‘Hey, Sailor!’ collection. Click here for all the info!
Hey! I have 2 things to ask. Have you ever tried the youngblood minerals foundation? And have you tried the NARS velvet gloss pencils?
Hi! I’ve never tired any products from Youngblood Cosmetics.
I have tried several Velvet Gloss Lip Pencils from NARS and I think they’re fantastic - moisturizing, pigmented, and the color lasts forever (even through eating and drinking!). Mexican Rose is my current favorite.
MAC Red Racer lipstick: one for me, one for you.
I’ll admit I get carried away with makeup sometimes. In my defense, I dislike the thought of buying a limited edition or hard to find product and falling in love with it, only to find that I can never buy it again. My solution? If there’s a remote chance I’m going to LOVE it, I buy more than one. A prime example: MAC’s Red Racer lipstick from the ‘Hey, Sailor!’ collection.

Much to my surprise, I actually like the ‘Hey, Sailor!’ packaging. I think the white and navy stripes are cute and playful for Summer; I certainly won’t mind pulling Red Racer out of my bag for a touch up now and then…just not on the subway because that’s gross.

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I went to a ‘Hey, Sailor!’ preview and I completely skipped over the lipsticks because of the large crowd. I’m glad I went back for Red Racer on the official launch date!

KAPOW! Now that’s a bright red lipstick. Red Racer has a satin finish (my favorite) and applies completely opaque in one swipe. I wore it a few times over Memorial Day Weekend paired with MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Throw Me a Line.

Did you have your eye on Red Racer from MAC’s ‘Hey, Sailor!’ collection? From the look of things, it’s completely sold out online and I’ve heard that many people can’t find it at their local MAC counters either. Don’t worry; I’ve got you covered.
I’m giving one lucky winner a brand new tube of MAC lipstick in Red Racer!

From left to right: Chanel Perfection Lumiere with SPF 10 in BR32, YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy lipstick in Mouthwatering Berry #05, Revlon Brow Fantasy eyebrow pencil/gel in Brunette, MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast, Blinc liquid eyeliner in Gray, Avon SuperExtend Extreme Mascara in Black (c/o), Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder in #907 Sable Beige.
I love the I-just-ate-a-cherry-popsicle look of this YSL lipstick. It’s a shame the Sheer Candy line makes my lips feel so dry.
Ok so…@NARSissist Mexican Rose lip pencil and Anardana polish are the perfect match. (Taken with instagram)

Clockwise from the left: Ecotools mini powder brush (from a set), MAC Fluidline in Dark Diversion, NARS blush in Sex Appeal, Real Techniques blush brush, Sephora + Pantone Universe lip gloss in Tangerine Tango Glaze, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in BR30, CoverGirl Professional Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara in Very Black, Ecotools angled eyeliner brush, Chanel Natural Finish Pressed Powder in #40 Doré.
The humidity in the city is killing me this weekend. I don’t often use a setting powder, but it’s been absolutely necessary the past few days.
Today, I’m color coordinating NARS Dolce Vita gloss and Thakoon for NARS nail polish in Koliary with my favorite Kidrobot Dunny. I don’t normally go for blues, but Koliary is so vibrant and fun. It felt like the perfect polish to kick off Memorial Day weekend.
Have a great weekend!
A surprise package from VINCA!
If I’m wearing a tent to dinner tonight (so I can eat and drink one of everything, duh), I should at least have glowing skin.
Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder in #907 Sable Beige.

Who’s that girl with the glowing skin? It’s me, it’s me! Seriously, Guerlain Meteorites are absolute magic and they brighten up my face, even on my most tired days. Money well spent.
I usually wear Blinc liquid eyeliner in black, but I decided to try something different and picked up a tube of gray at The Makeup Show a couple weeks ago. I’m so in love.
